A Message from Chaplain Mark Javery

The past month has again brought loss and heartache to members in our NCYC family.

Member Jodi Lancaster passed away April 15th. Uphold her husband Everitt, their children, and entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

May is a month in which we remember and honor two groups of individuals that deserve so much more than just a day….

As Mother’s Day approaches we are reminded of how important of a role our mothers play in our lives. From positive guidance, representation of unwavering faith, to delivering unconditional love and teachable moments, mothers are real life heroes in their own right and a blessing from God. Memorial Day a solemn day assigned to a debt we can never repay. To those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and their families who live with their loss words seem a disservice. But words we have, so I will use them to my best ability and I pledge in addition to keep these heroes in my heart and prayers. “Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it.
