Brief commentary on upcoming initiatives at the Club.

Vice Commodore’s Comments

Thank You to all the Board Members and members that were able to come out and join us at the Island. The last couple of weekends we were able to remove all but one tree to get ready for the Garage construction and west harbor walkway installation. I’m sure we are going to see a lot of the Members come out and give a hand over the next six weeks to get the Clubhouse and Grounds ready for Opening weekend. The 2024 NCYC Commodores Ball will be February 3,2024 at Marriott, Auburn Hills. Further details will follow as we progress. With all of the Michigan MLCC and Insurance regulation changes and the NCYC Policy changes, I feel it is time to communicate the changes to the membership and educate the Members how important these changes and policies and processes are for the club to stay compliant with the State local laws and MLCC rules and Insurance requirements.

Rear Commodore’s Comments

The Club is open, the water is turned on, and it is go-time for spring projects. As the commodore mentioned we have lots to do and need a lot of help. Anyone with carpentry, concrete, or general labor skills is needed over the next 3-4 weeks to get the projects completed and the Club opened.
