Don stated that he will be looking for two large BBQ's to replace the ones we have. The Ancient Mariners have voted to donate a check for new small BBQ's. Kim Miedema stated that Char Broil will replace all parts for free, for the life of the BBQ.

Membership- Brian Malik Brian reviewed the current membership numbers. There are currently 149 Boating, 26 Non Boating, 50 Seniors, 24 Juniors, 2 Honorary, with a total of 251. We have 5 members on Leave of Absence, 7 resigned and 6 new members. Joyce Obenhoff, Don Shepperson Sr, Larry Berger, Tim Mazurek, Hazen McCann, Gary Stanford, and Bill Wallace have resigned. Don Reiss suggested that we send a letter of thanks for long time members that have resigned. A committee was formed to decide how to handle resignations. Members on Leave of Absence are John Prochaska, Debbie Hagendorff, Larry Ianitelli, Samantha Richardson, PC Pete Beecherl. Motion: Moved by PC Hugh Vestal to approve the Leave of Absence for these members. Seconded by Darryl Campbell. Motion Carried. A request was made by Tom Karasinski to be exempt from his work hours due to health issues. Motion: Moved by Brian Malik to exempt Tom Karasinski permanently from work hours. Seconded by Don Reiss. Motion Carried. A request from Nikki Verkest to change from Junior Member to Non Boating status. Motion: Moved by Brian Malik to grant this request. Seconded by RC Pat Carroll. Motion Carried. Two new member candidates need Board approval, Dennis Alcazar and Steven Popkie. Motion: Moved by Randy Pagel to approve Dennis and Ellen Alcazar as new members. Seconded by Brent Malik. Motion Carried. Motion: Moved by Brent Malik to approve Steven and Julie Popkie as new members. Seconded by Randy Pagel. Motion Carried. Publications- Brent Malik Brent indicated that all Flag and sub groups (Ancient Mariners and First Mates) are updated in Club Express. Directors Ian Blackburn and Darryl Campbell need to have their pictures taken in their whites. Fan out's to the membership are only to be for Club business. All renewal work orders for ads in the Beacon and roster were sent out the first of February. There are currently 7 verbal renewals with 4 paid renewals.
