APRIL 2015 BEACON

Sandi and I attended the ABYA Spring Rendezvous in Midland again this year. There were 9 couples from NCYC that attended. Once again Rick and Jill Romatz did a great job putting the event together. The theme was the 60's and 70’s and the NCYC hallway was keenly decorated with memorabilia from that time. The main event Saturday night had all of the clubs dressed up in 60's and 70’s garb and listening to the music of the era. It was a fun time had by all in attendance. We hope to see more NCYC members attend next year to celebrate Rick Romatz's ABYA Commodore year. Keep it in mind. Please do not forget about the First Mates Fashion Show this spring at Bayview Yacht Club, which is scheduled for May 9th. Our First Mates have worked very hard to put this show on, so please show your support and bring both your NCYC family and friends as well as your non-NCYC friends and their families with their checkbooks open!

Only 7 days till launch, will there be ice, or open water to accept our boats?
