Commodores Comments…

Finally, after four months of hard work and preparation the Club is open. I would like to personally thank all those who gave up their time and helped in completing this year’s projects. The new bar, the walkway and door, and the upstairs heating and air conditioning are complete and ready to be enjoyed. The Memorial Day weekend events were fantastic. With the exception of a little rain on Sunday evening, the weather was beautiful. Thanks to First Lady Nancy and Judy McHugh for the great meal and entertainment Saturday evening and the lunch on Sunday. June will prove to be a very busy month, with a fantastic event every weekend. Starting with the ABYA Spring Dinner Dance June 2nd thru 4th, The Great Smoke with Fine Scotch, Cigars and Wine by Don Ruma with a Surf and Turf Dinner by PC Brian and Renee Mc Evoy June 10th, Ladies Week June 12th thru 15th, The Algonac Harbor Club Rendezvous June 16th -18th and Kids Weekend June 23rd thru 25th. There is literally something for everyone this month so please come on out and take part in these fun events. This year’s Friday night Dinners are brought to us by Little Camille’s and will feature a theme Buffet every week along with a soup and salad bar. The menus will be posted each week. With all these great events at NCYC this year, please come out and join in the fun, you won’t regret it. Commodore Pat
