Old Business 1. Plan for mitigating water under the club house. Working on 3 separate proposals. Bill Burkhardt will take this project on. 2. DTE survey and genow seawall erosion by swim platform. Dale Hall has been going back and forth with DTE on who is responsible financially for the high voltage cable coming through the seawall. DTE claims no responsibility and will not buck up. Dale suggests finding a well insured local contractor to dig and see what is causing the erosion. DTE will be present during the inspection providing their suggestions. 3. Requirements for bar staff members to be professionally trained on alcohol awareness in order to comply with the club’s insurance stipulations. During the audit, they had 1 finding regarding alcohol awareness. Brian Fringer said the recommendation is to have all OD’s watch a short online video that will comply with the insurance company. They will come back to the February meeting with a plan. 4. Maintaining NCYC traditions. The Guidelines and Policy committee will be integrated with the Traditions committee suggested by Rick Romatz. Members will be added to the committee as we discuss new business.
