A minimum of 15 percent of the voting members in good standing shall be required to elect officers and members of the Board of Directors. Section 2. A Nominating Committee composed of five members in good standing, none of who shall be Flag Officers or on the Board of Directors, shall be appointed annually by the Board of Directors at least three months prior to the date of the annual election. Section 3. The Nominating Committee will provide one candidate for Commodore, one candidate for Vice- Commodore, two candidates for Rear-Commodore and two candidates for each Board position to be filled except as provided for in Sections 5 and 11 of this Article. It is understood that the current Vice- Commodore will be the preferred candidate for Commodore and the current Rear-Commodore will be the preferred candidate for Vice-Commodore.
