SAFETY
FIRES : Fires are permitted only in grills located at a safe distance from the clubhouse, docks, and tool sheds. NO B.B.Q.’s OR FIRES OF ANY TYPE ON DOCKS!
FLAMMABLE MATERIALS : No gasoline or flammable material is to be stored in the clubhouse at any time.
SWIMMING : Supervised swimming is not provided. Swimming from the North Channel seawall and any breakwater, including the east harbor, is forbidden. The club will not accept liability for any accidents. Life Rings are for emergencies only! Swimming is only permitted in the designated area — West Well #33 — DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY! Parents are responsible to supervise their children in the swim area. FIN RUNNERS : Life jackets are provided on the fin runners for all occupants and their usage is always encouraged. Maximum capacity on fin runners not to be exceeded at any time.
Per Coast Guard order - Current maximum number of passengers including driver and crew is eight (8).
Coast Guard regulations mandate NO SMOKING, NO CONSUMING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND ALL PASSENGERS MUST BE SEATED DURING FIN RUNNER OPERATION.
The island O.D. is entrusted with Fin Runner usage and only “authorized” operators are allowed to use these boats.
