SEPTEMBER 2019 BEACON

Wow, what a jam-packed calendar of excitement since the last Beacon!!! We not only dressed in as much green as possible as we were entertained by The Codgers during the Irish Pub Party. The next weekend was kicked off with Captain Fantastic -- who made us feel like the real Elton was in the house -- followed by a day of cruising around the lake collecting the best poker hand one could get! The following weekend, we brought out our sophisticated side with an afternoon of wine tasting along with exceptional hors d'oeuvres. Later, we tried our Lady Luck at the Euchre Party. If the above mentioned did not get your blood flowing, the next weekend was the Labor Day General Membership Meeting followed by the Past Commodores serving up the traditional P/C Beer Bust, capping off the weekend was the First Mates Southern Hospitality dinner. And last, but certainly not least, with great thanks to our Fleet Captains, we headed to Lexington for a fun filled weekend at the Lexington Harbor. Once again, the event champions and their teams did not disappoint. The season end is fast approaching, but the fun is not over yet. We still have the Commodores Fishing Derby, Smoke on the Water and the final Haul out Party!!
