Extended thanks to Fleet Captain for excellent job; recognized Shelby Romatz for great Kids Day event; thanked the Board for all their support this year.

Vice Commodore’s Comments

I would like just to say Hat’s off to this Board and the Membership for all the well supported and well attended Events and Rendezvous it’s been a great year. Just to mention a few. A. The Poker Run was over the top this year. Christa Betts and crew did an Awesome job again this year with this event and again well supported by the membership. B. Kid’s Day was a huge success. Shelby Romatz did an awesome job with the planning of this event, but the membership and children came out of the woodwork and did a great job supporting the event over the top. C. Our Fleet Captains have done an outstanding job this year with all 3 of the Rendezvous at South Channel Yacht Club, Lake St. Clair Metro Park, and St. Clair and very well supported by the membership. D. Our Ancient Mariners Fund Raiser Horse Race’s was another great success the membership again was over the top supporting this event not only by attendance but also all of the great donations. I’m sure this one was a huge success for the Ancient Mariners record books. E. Our OD’s and Weekday Managers have done an outstanding job with the incoming rendezvous and events during the weekdays. Save the date: The 2024 NCYC Commodores Ball will be February 3, 2024, at Marriott Auburn Hills. Further details will follow as we progress.
