Activities

Dennis Alacazar

Dennis is looking into bands that are interested in playing at the club. Tom the bald chef gave him some information on a band that he knows named “Classic Maniacs” the cost would be $500.00 for 4 hours, if food or beverage is included, they will discount the price to $400.00. Commodore Glenn Nixon is interested in possibly having a band play on Friday nights. Dennis is going to contact “Classic Maniacs” to see if they can offer us an incentive to play at the club.

Harbor & Grounds

Tom Altobelli

Backfill East Harbor and Robison V/C Dale Hall has had contact with Brad Patterson about dredging and backfilling the area, Brad has not provided a quote but said his rate is $250.00 per hour. Dale will send out the bid as soon as he gets it. Tom has had contact with Bob Brison (friend of Jim Angers) to bid out the project. Bob said they could haul in fill dirt at $40.00 a yard. They have a barge that can bring in 70 yards of fill dirt at a time. The cost of the project is based on how much fill dirt is needed. Tom will meet with Bob to determine how much fill dirt is needed; Tom will also confirm if the bid is for sand of fill dirt. A-Dock Extension V/C Dale Hall is still waiting on a quote for this project from Brad Patterson. R/C Brian Fringer will work out the details for approval of this project and he will reach out to Cash Reserve. A plan will be put together so it can be voted on during the April meeting or sooner if possible.
