Can you please read this at the next board meeting? I just received an email regarding the Lake St. Clair outing and Shelly is requesting that we mail her the checks for the outing. I would like to know why we do not have a more secure way to pay for things of this nature? Systems such as Google Pay and Venmo are two examples. From what I understand, these are extremely simple to set up. This can be used not just for outings, but for weekend events (i.e. steer roast, smoke out, etc.), and annual dues. And I am sure I am not the only Member expressing this concern. Even the US Post Office doesn’t recommend sending checks through the mail anymore.
