JUNE 2018 BEACON

We were blessed with great weather for our “Fitting Out” weekend and Flag raising ceremony. It was an honor to welcome 18 new members to the Club at our General Membership meeting. That same evening we had our Steer Roast which we have not had for the past 8 years. P/C Bill Bauer and P/C Denise Huntley did a phenomenal job organizing, preparing and cooking our 685 pound steer. A great time was had by all. After our Flag raising ceremonies on Sunday, we had a great lunch prepared for us by the “Tiara” group. We look forward to this Saturday for the ABYA dinner dance. P/C Pat Carroll has tickets if you are interested in joining us. Please mark your calendars for Ladies Week. It will be starting Sunday June 10th at 6:00 PM thru Thursday, June 14th after lunch. Look for future Fan Outs for further information. Also, please make sure you fly your NCYC Burgee so we can identify that you are a member of the Club. This makes it easier on the OD. Also, please remember to take you own trash back with you on your boat. We have been made aware of members not adhering to this policy.
