of fun doing that. In the future I would like to see a Picnic Day. It was fun to watch the adults have as much fun as the kids.

Financial Report

Treasurer, Frank Corcoran

Frank indicated that there was a minor net loss for the month of June of about $3,000. We had revenues of $23,000, with 50% of that coming from bar revenue. Frank introduced a new procedure for reporting expenses from the Directors at last month's meeting, where all the information is downloaded and sent to him. Due to the holiday and the timing of the bank statements, those reports were not ready in time to make the midyear report. The midyear review will be presented at the August meeting to assure that we have the correct numbers to review.

Motion: Moved by PC Hugh Vestal to accept the financial report. Seconded by Don Reiss.

ABYA Report:

P/C Don Vanover

PC Don Vanover was out of town, so Commodore John attended the ABYA meeting.

The July ABYA Membership Meeting was held at Belvidere Boat Club. They reported a net profit of $2,687 for the Spring Dinner Dance and proved to be a success for them. The guest speaker at the meeting was Supervisor Shaun Reynolds of the US Customs Border Patrol. He was able to answer numerous questions concerning the function of the department and what to expect when traveling, specifically by boat between the US and Canada. The largest portion of their job is to address compliance issues when reporting in at either side of the border. The next sponsored ABYA event will be at MacRay Marina August 14-15 where the Rubber Band Boat Races will be held on that Sunday morning. Also mentioned was that the Parade of Lights will be held again this year on the Clinton River on August 2nd. The next ABYA GMM will be held at Conger Bay Boat Club at 7:30 on August 5th. When the ABYA meetings are held at Conger Bay Boat Club, NCYC typically will provide the transportation of the attendees to and from that facility by our Finrunners. We also provide Finrunner drivers.

Motion: Moved by RC Chuck Stroh to provide the Finrunners and drivers for the ABYA meeting at Conger Bay Boat Club. Seconded by Rich Goodman.

Motion Carried.
